Where Does He Get Those Wonderful Toys?
On April 1st, Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles will be holding an exhibition called "Toys", an art extravaganza celebrating the items we cherished as children. I've been lucky enough to be asked to participate in the show, and I'm pretty darn excited about it. I mean, c'mon, it's TOYS! What could be more fun that re-interpreting the games and action-figures (NOT dolls!) I collected (or stole from my younger brother).
I've created a new piece special for the show, featuring...well, that's a bit of a secret now. I would hate to spoil the surprise for anyone lucky enough to be in the LA area and able to attend. But, since I'm not a total jerk, here's a little teaser from the sketch:
