Upcoming Events, March 29 and April 1st, 2008

On March 29th, 2008, I will be exhibiting my recent artwork at an exposition at the Tokyo International Exchange Center. Stefano Lodola, Italian Baritone and showman, very kindly asked me to take part in the exposition of art, books, and various handicrafts which will take place alongside his solo performance. Tickets for the show are ¥5000 and the after-party ¥2000, but the exposition is open to the public free of charge. I'll be showing and talking about my work from 2:30pm-6:30pm. 2008年3月29日土曜日、東京国際交流館にて私の最近の作品を展示します。イタリア人バリトン歌手である ステファノ・ロドラさんのカンツオーネ＆トークショーと並行して催される展示会（写真、本、工芸品など）に出展させてもらうことになりました。ステファノさんのショーのチケットは5000円、その後のパーティが2000円で参加できますが、展示会は無料でご覧頂けます。私は2:30pm〜6:30pmの間に作品を展示・販売しますので、お近くにお越しの際はぜひお立ち寄りください！

April 1st, 2008 marks the opening reception of "TOYS", the newest group show at Gallery 1988 Los Angeles. The opening reception (which, sadly I cannot attend) starts at 7pm and runs until 10pm. I've seen some previews of the artwork based on our favorite toys from the 80's, and it is fabulous. I'm very proud to be included alongside such great talent (and I'm very happy with the work that I did especially for the show, which is a first!). Find out more on the Gallery 1988 blog!
